The most marvelous Day of Planet Earth. The Day which is composed of time fragments
accumulated within four years. Time as a value and a holiday. Eternity shrinks to instants.
Instants flow into infinity. The irreversible time flowing transports us through an automatic matrix of obscurity. The self-centered fixation of living individualities on themselves.
For the whole Art-Planet.
In the Lux-Calendar the Day of February 29 shall remain for sure the most significant and unique holiday of planet Earth. These are the conditions for this work of conceptual art. The severe actuality, i.e. the surrounding reality is a different matter… So far it is unknown whether the high actualization of current time will be evaluated by the general consciousness of mankind in such a compacted Day as February 29. We may only suppose that pursuit of the objective manifestation of initial conditions of our existence will eventually let the existing mankind be surprised by the fantastic value of this unique Day. That’s why at the start of the project the website visitors are suggested to go through some online voting in respect of this issue. The survey is conducting throughout the leap year according the Lux-Calendar, i.e. from March 1, 54info (2011) to February 29, 54info (2012).
